This altar rug is woven to honour the spirit of our shedding skins, the passion of our lives and our relationships with forces seen + unseen. It is an ode to our red blood cells and the green chlorophyll dance that makes our living possible. This rug is larger in size and is a good friend for ceremonies and rites of passage gatherings. Or to have somewhere in the home that reminds you of your place in the web of life.
All of our handwoven works are made at home, and contain the spirit of human-craft which has quirks and irregularities, adding to the integrity of each piece.
